DESCRIPCIÓN
BK/MDQ-8 is a dual-element, time-delay glass fuse designed for circuit protection in low-voltage applications. It features a ¼" x 1 ¼" (6.3 x 32 mm) physical size with a glass tube and nickel-plated brass endcap construction, meeting UL standard 248-14. The fuse is rated at 8A with a 32V AC voltage rating and 1,000A interrupting capacity, providing reliable protection with a typical DC cold resistance of 0.012 O. The time-delay characteristic allows it to withstand temporary overcurrents while responding to sustained faults, with opening times of 60 minutes maximum at 135% of rated current and 120 seconds maximum at 200% of rated current. This fuse is commonly used in industrial control systems, power distribution equipment, and electronic devices requiring dependable overcurrent protection with time-delay characteristics.
