The 20117-84 is a 10 Amp DPDT plug-in octal base general purpose relay with indicator lamp designed for controlling electrical loads in industrial equipment. It features a 120 VAC coil with 1850 O nominal resistance and 2.2 VA nominal power consumption, with a Class F coil insulation system rated for 155°C total temperature and molded in Rynite® PET for environmental protection. The relay operates at approximately 15 milliseconds for both engage and release times, with a pickup voltage of 85% or less of nominal at 25°C, and carries 10 Amp at 120 VAC (1/2 HP) or 10 Amp at 277 VAC with 3/16" diameter silver cadmium oxide moveable contacts and fine silver stationary contacts. It operates reliably across -45°C to 55°C ambient temperature with 45°C coil temperature rise at 60 Hz continuous duty, features 800 VRMS dielectric strength between contacts and 1500 VRMS between other elements, and is rated for 100,000 electrical operations at rated load with 10,000,000 mechanical life cycles. This relay is commonly used as a replacement component in existing equipment requiring indicator lamp functionality and robust contact performance.
