The THT-18-486-3 is a thermal transfer printable label made from B-486 metallized polyester, intended for producing nameplate-quality rating and serial plates. It features a matte, light gray finish and a permanent rubber-based adhesive engineered for high adhesion to textured metals, powder-coated surfaces, and low-surface-energy plastics. With a total thickness of 0.0053 inches, this label stock can withstand a wide service temperature range from -40°F to 248°F (-40°C to 120°C). The material is UL recognized and CSA accepted when printed with recommended Brady ribbon series, making it a reliable choice for industrial applications requiring durable identification with barcodes, graphics, and text.
