SRN8040-1R5Y is a semi-shielded power inductor from the SRM8040 Series designed for high-current DC/DC converter applications. It features a 1.5 µH inductance with a tolerance of ±13%, a maximum DC resistance of 0.011 O, and a rated RMS current of 8.2 A, with saturation current of 7 A. The component has a compact height of 4 mm and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, with a self-resonant frequency of 55 MHz. Its semi-shielded construction, ferrite core, and RoHS-compliant, halogen-free design make it ideal for notebook computers, digital video cameras, HDDs, cell phones, and LCD display applications where space efficiency and thermal performance are critical.
