DESCRIPCIÓN

SMCJ440CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed for surge and ESD protection in electronic circuits. It features a breakdown voltage of 491 V, a working voltage of 450 V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 701 V. The device offers a power dissipation rating of 1500 watts and is housed in a compact surface mount DO-214AB (SMC) package. With fast response times of less than 5.0 picoseconds for bidirectional devices, it provides effective protection against IEC 61000-4-2 ESD, IEC 61000-4-4 EFT, and IEC 61000-4-5 surge events. This RoHS compliant component is ideal for protecting portable communications, computing, and video equipment from transient voltage events.
