DESCRIPCIÓN

SMCJ400CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. This device features a working peak reverse voltage of 400 V with a breakdown voltage of 419 V, and is housed in a compact DO-214AB (SMC) surface-mount package. The diode delivers a maximum peak current of 501 A with a peak pulse voltage of 4.1 V, providing fast transient response for protection against IEC 61000-4-2 ESD, IEC 61000-4-4 EFT, and IEC 61000-4-5 surge events. With 1500 watts of power dissipation capability and RoHS compliance, the SMCJ400CA is ideal for high-voltage protection applications requiring compact, reliable surge suppression in modern electronic systems.
