DESCRIPCIÓN

SMCJ12CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. The device features a working peak reverse voltage of 11.1 V, breakdown voltage of 9.0 V, and maximum peak current rating of 20.0 A, with a maximum clamp voltage of 15.4 V at the specified pulse current. Housed in a compact DO-214AB (SMC) surface mount package, it delivers fast response times and 1500 watts peak power dissipation capability. The SMCJ12CA is RoHS compliant and suitable for IEC 61000-4-2 ESD (Level 4), IEC 61000-4-4 EFT, and IEC 61000-4-5 surge protection applications, making it ideal for protecting sensitive electronic circuits from transient overvoltage events.
