DESCRIPCIÓN

SMCJ120A is a transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment applications. The device features a working peak reverse voltage of 120V, a breakdown voltage of 133V, and is housed in a compact DO-214AB (SMC) surface mount package. It delivers peak pulse power dissipation of 1500 watts with a peak forward surge current of 200 amps (8.3 ms single half sine wave), steady-state power dissipation of 5.0 watts at 75°C lead temperature, and operates across a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. The device exhibits fast response times of less than 1.0 ns for unidirectional operation and is RoHS compliant with lead-free termination, making it ideal for protecting sensitive electronics from transient voltage events.
