DESCRIPCIÓN

SMBJ6.0CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in compact surface-mount applications. This device features a working peak reverse voltage of 6.5 V and a breakdown voltage range of 6.67 to 7.37 V, with a maximum reverse leakage current of 9.0 mA at rated voltage. The diode is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface-mount package and delivers fast response times of less than 5.0 picoseconds for bidirectional operation. With a maximum clamping voltage of 10.2 V and peak current handling of 58.3 A, the SMBJ6.0CA is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics in portable communications, computing, and video equipment against transient overvoltage events including ESD (IEC 61000-4-2), electrical fast transients (IEC 61000-4-4), and surge conditions (IEC 61000-4-5).
