DESCRIPCIÓN

SMBJ54A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in compact surface-mount applications. It features a working peak reverse voltage of 54 V with a minimum breakdown voltage of 64.4 V and maximum of 71.2 V, providing reliable overvoltage clamping. The device delivers 600 watts peak pulse power dissipation (1 ms pulse) and 5.0 watts steady-state power dissipation at 75°C, with a peak forward surge current rating of 100 amps. Operating across a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, the SMBJ54A is housed in the compact DO-214AA (SMB) surface-mount package and conforms to JEDEC standards. This device is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics in portable communications, computing, and video equipment against transient voltage events per IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT), and IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge) standards.
