DESCRIPCIÓN

SMBJ48A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in compact surface-mount applications. This device features a working peak reverse voltage of 48 V, with a breakdown voltage range of 53 V to 58.9 V, and is housed in the DO-214AA (SMB) package format. The diode exhibits fast response times of less than 1.0 picosecond and provides a maximum clamping voltage of 89.7 V at a clamping current of 100.6 A, with a maximum peak current rating of 7.8 A. The SMBJ48A is RoHS compliant and rated for 600 watts power dissipation, making it suitable for protecting sensitive electronics in portable communications, computing, and video equipment against transient overvoltage events per IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT), and IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge) standards.
