DESCRIPCIÓN

The CG0402MLU-12G is an ESD protector from Bourns' ChipGuard® MLU Series, specifically designed to protect sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge damage. This device is engineered to meet IEC61000-4-2 Level 4 specifications (±8 kV Contact / ±15 kV Air Discharge) and features a typical continuous operating voltage of 12 V with excellent low-capacitance performance of 0.05 pF maximum and leakage current less than 5 nA, making it nearly transparent under normal operating conditions. The device offers a maximum response time of 1 ns and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. It is ideal for protecting high-speed interfaces including USB 3.0/USB OTG, HDMI 1.4, DVI, IEEE1394, and SIM card ports, providing robust ESD protection while maintaining signal integrity in demanding applications.
