DESCRIPCIÓN
MRJ5A8101 is a rugged RJ45 connector from Amphenol's MRJ series, designed to provide a standard RJ45 interface ideal for harsh environments where Ethernet/IP protocol is used. This connector features right angle PCB tail termination with 8 contacts, green left and yellow right LED indicators, 2.54mm tail length, and #4-40 UNC thread options. Key electrical characteristics include a current rating of 1.5A per contact, contact resistance of 30 mO max, insulation resistance of 500 MO min, and dielectric withstand voltage of 1000/1500 V AC at sea level. The connector is constructed with phosphor bronze contacts with gold over nickel plating, a UL94V-0 rated high temperature thermoplastic housing, and a die cast zinc alloy shell with nickel plating. Operating over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and rated for 2500 mating cycles, this RoHS compliant connector is suitable for networking, telecom, mobile communication systems, and traffic control applications.
