DESCRIPCIÓN

HSCDTD008A is a three-axis terrestrial magnetism sensor with digital output designed for electronic compass functionality. It features a high sensitivity magnetic sensor with 0.15 µT/LSB resolution and a measurement range of ±2.4 mT per axis (±7.2 mT total), housed in a compact 1.6 mm x 1.6 mm x 0.7 mm FLGA package. The sensor operates with an analog supply voltage of 1.7 V to 3.6 V and digital supply voltage of 1.65 V to AVDD, with low current consumption of 3 µA typical in stand-by mode and 60 µA at 10 Hz output data rate. It includes an I2C slave interface supporting multiple speed modes, 8-depth FIFO memory, temperature compensation, offset calibration, and self-test functions. Common applications include navigation systems, mobile devices, and orientation detection where accurate magnetic field measurement is required.
