6717-WH005 is a single-conductor 14 AWG hookup wire manufactured by Alpha Wire, designed for general-purpose electrical applications requiring reliable insulation and flame resistance. The wire features a tinned copper conductor with a modified polyphenylene ether insulation wall of 0.011 inches nominal thickness, providing a total outer diameter of 0.096 ± 0.002 inches. It is rated for 600V RMS at temperatures up to 105°C and meets UL AWM/STYLE 11028 VW-1 and CSA C/RU AWM I A/B FT1 specifications, with halogen-free construction and compliance with IEC 60332-2 flame behavior standards. The wire exhibits a conductor DC resistance of 2.8 O/1000ft at 20°C and an inductance of 0.03 µH/ft, with a maximum pull tension of 32 lbs and a minimum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter.
