The 7000057686 is a 9-position D-Sub EMI junction shell designed to shield D-subminiature connectors from electromagnetic and electrostatic interference. Constructed from ABS plastic with nickel-over-copper plating, the shell offers a lightweight yet robust shielding solution. It features a thermoplastic elastomer compression insert to provide strain relief and accommodates a cable outer diameter range from 0.210 to 0.320 inches. The shell operates within a temperature range of 0°C to +75°C and includes #4-40 jackscrews for positive retention, making it ideal for applications requiring a compact, easy-to-assemble, and reliable shielded connection.
