DESCRIPCIÓN
APT1221A is a phototriac coupler designed for AC triac ignition and control in industrial machinery and consumer electronics applications. This DIP4-pin surface-mount device features a random switching method (without zero-cross detection) and operates with a repetitive peak OFF-state voltage of 600 V and ON-state RMS current of 100 mA. The coupler provides high isolation voltage of 5,000 Vrms between input and output, ensuring safe operation in high-voltage environments. It is certified to multiple safety standards including C-UL (UL1577) and VDE (EN60747-5-5), making it suitable for triac drivers in SSRs, heater controls, and 100V/200V 50/60 Hz line applications. The device operates reliably across an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +100°C.
