The 024255-2666 is a circular connector from the MIL-DTL 5015 Series I, designed as a box mounting receptacle with threaded coupling. It features a size 24 aluminum alloy shell with an olive drab chromate coating over cadmium for durability. The connector houses two size 4 socket contacts with hard silver plating, supporting a high current rating of 135 A and a test voltage of 1600 Vrms. With a neoprene insulator, it operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and provides IP65 environmental sealing. Its robust design and high-current capability make it ideal for demanding applications in military and industrial systems.
