The CS-8000 Circuit Seeker is a handheld circuit tracing instrument designed to locate concealed wiring, junction boxes, and circuit breakers on both live and open circuits without requiring power interruption. It features advanced patented non-directional sensing technology with both visual and audible feedback through an ergonomic receiver with a full-color graphical LCD display. The transmitter operates at 0-750 V AC/DC with a 15.15 kHz frequency, while the receiver provides detection ranges up to 20 feet in live line mode and up to 10 feet in open line mode with metallic ground connection. The device includes user-selectable automatic or manual gain modes, can locate blown fuses and identify shorts or breaks in conductors, and operates over a temperature range of 0 to +50°C with power-saving auto-off features.
