DESCRIPCIÓN
SM3175 is a 2.92mm female to 2.4mm female RF adapter designed to enable connections between two different connector types in microwave and millimeter-wave systems. The adapter operates across a frequency range from DC to 40 GHz with a maximum VSWR of 1.25:1, providing excellent impedance matching at 50 ohms. It features a straight body geometry with beryllium copper contacts plated in gold over nickel according to MIL-G-45204 specification, and oxide-noryl insulation material for durability. The adapter measures 0.748 inches (19 mm) in length and weighs 5.35 grams, with rated mating cycles of 500 per connector. Common applications include between-series connections, general-purpose test setups, and connector-saver configurations on expensive RF equipment to minimize wear on primary connectors during frequent connect/disconnect cycles.
