CMT3-6-R is a through-hole common mode inductor designed for EMI filtering and noise suppression in power supply applications. It features a ferrite core material with a maximum diameter of 25.0 mm and a height of 14 mm, with wire diameters of 0.99 mm (Y) and 1.25 mm (Z). The inductor provides noise attenuation up to 60 dB across a frequency range up to 6 MHz, with a hipot rating of 2400 Vac for 1 second winding to winding and a 1:1 turns ratio. Operating temperature range spans from -40°C to +125°C, and the component meets UL94V-1 flammability standard. Common applications include off-line power supplies, DC-DC converters, EMI filters, and protection of AC inputs from switching regulator effects.
