The MDS-150AAS24BA is a medical AC-DC adapter designed to deliver 24 Vdc at 6.25 A (150 W) from a universal AC input of 90–264 Vac. It features comprehensive protection mechanisms including overvoltage, overload, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection in hiccup mode, along with 2x MOPP galvanic isolation (4000 Vac input-to-output) for enhanced safety. The unit meets stringent medical and industrial safety standards including IEC 60601-1, IEC 62368-1, and IEC 60601-1-2 4th Edition, with CB certification for worldwide use and a 1 Million Hours MTBF rating. Key performance characteristics include ±5% total output regulation, 240 mV pk-pk ripple and noise at full load, and low touch current of 0.1 mA (normal) and 0.3 mA (single fault condition).
