The GP62402224724-US is an ultrasonic sensor designed for car park detection systems, specifically configured without a built-in LED indicator and intended for use with passive LED indicators. The sensor operates at an ultrasonic frequency of 40 kHz and features a narrow detection beam suitable for accurate parking bay status monitoring, with a maximum detection range of 4.0 m and minimum range of 1.5 m. It incorporates self-calibration capability (both global and local), fast reaction time of 0.4 seconds in Lane mode for detecting cars at speeds up to 20 km/h, and operates on the Dupline 3-wire bus system with power supply requirements of 21–30 VDC and maximum supply current of 15 mA. The sensor is protected against dust and moisture (IP 34), operates reliably across -40°C to 70°C, and includes temperature compensation for stable performance without recalibration. This sensor is ideal for automated parking management systems where reliable car detection, low power consumption, and integration with centralized monitoring devices are required.
