The DA284-73/POLY is a single-pole heavy-duty toggle switch from the DK/EK-Series designed for demanding industrial applications requiring reliable switching performance. It features a bat-style toggle actuator with a toggle length of 0.687 inches and bushing length of 0.465 inches, combined with screw terminal connections for secure wiring. The switch is rated for 8A at 250V or 16A at 125V AC/DC operation, with a dielectric strength of 1000V (UL/CSA) between live and dead metal parts. It incorporates a quick make/quick break contact mechanism ideal for high-voltage DC applications, backed by 25,000 electrical cycles and 100,000 mechanical cycles of operational life. The switch operates reliably across a temperature range of 0°F to 150°F (-17.8°C to +65.6°C) and is commonly used in industrial motor control and general-purpose switching applications where sturdy metal construction and stiff actuation force are essential.
