SRP6540-270M is a shielded power inductor from Bourns' SRP6540 series designed for DC/DC converters and power supply applications in portable communications equipment, laptops, camcorders, and video game consoles. The inductor features an iron powder core with enameled copper wire and Cu/Ni/Sn terminals, delivering 27 µH inductance (±20%) with a maximum DC resistance of 290 mO. It is rated for 2 A RMS current and 2 A saturation current, with a typical temperature rise of 40°C at rated current and inductance drop of 20% at saturation.
