DESCRIPCIÓN

The SMLJ43A is a Transient Voltage Suppressor Diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment applications. It features a compact surface mount SMC (DO-214AB) package with a standoff voltage of 43 volts and a peak pulse power dissipation of 3000 watts at 1 ms pulse duration. The device offers fast response times of less than 5.0 nanoseconds for bidirectional operation and operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. With a peak forward surge current rating of 300 amps and steady-state power dissipation of 5.0 watts at 75°C, the SMLJ43A provides robust protection against transient voltage events while maintaining a low profile suitable for modern compact electronic designs.
