DESCRIPCIÓN

SMCJ6.0A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. The device features a working peak reverse voltage of 6.0 V, a breakdown voltage of 6.67 V, and a maximum peak pulse voltage of 145.7 V with a maximum pulse current of 728.5 A. It delivers a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500 watts (at 1 ms pulse width), a steady-state power dissipation of 5.0 watts at 75°C, and a peak forward surge current of 200 amps (8.3 ms single half-sine wave). The device operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and is housed in a compact SMC/DO-214AB surface-mount package, making it ideal for high-density circuit protection applications requiring fast transient response and reliable ESD suppression.
