DESCRIPCIÓN

SMCJ54A is a Transient Voltage Suppressor Diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment applications. This unidirectional device features a breakdown voltage of 60 V, a working peak reverse voltage of 54 V, and a maximum reverse voltage rating of 5 V, housed in a compact SMC (DO-214AB) surface mount package. The device delivers peak pulse power dissipation of 1500 watts at 1 ms pulse width and peak forward surge current of 200 amps, with steady-state power dissipation of 5.0 watts at 75°C. Operating across a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, the SMCJ54A provides fast response times of less than 1.0 ns and is RoHS compliant with lead-free termination, making it ideal for high-reliability protection circuits in modern compact electronic designs.
