DESCRIPCIÓN

SMCJ36CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. The device features a working peak reverse voltage of 36 V, breakdown voltage of 40 V, and maximum clamp voltage of 58.2 V, with a maximum peak current rating of 75.5 A. It is housed in a compact DO-214AB (SMC) surface-mount package and conforms to JEDEC standards with typical response times of less than 5.0 picoseconds. The SMCJ36CA is RoHS compliant and rated for 1500 watts power dissipation, making it ideal for protecting sensitive circuits against transient overvoltage events per IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT), and IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge) standards.
