DESCRIPCIÓN
SMBJ18CA-Q is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection applications in compact DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package. It features a working peak reverse voltage (VRWM) of 18V with a breakdown voltage range of 20.9V to 22.1V, and is rated for 600W peak power dissipation. The device exhibits typical fast response times of less than 1.0 picosecond from 0V to breakdown voltage, with a maximum clamping voltage of 27.6V at the specified current. SMBJ18CA-Q is AEC-Q101 compliant and RoHS compliant, making it suitable for automotive-grade applications. Common applications include protection of power buses, I/O interfaces, and use in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics systems.
