DESCRIPCIÓN

SMBJ160A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. It features a working peak reverse voltage of 160 V with a breakdown voltage of 210 V, housed in a compact DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package. The device delivers 600 watts peak power dissipation and exhibits fast response times of less than 1.0 picosecond, providing reliable protection against transient overvoltage events. The SMBJ160A is RoHS compliant and suitable for applications requiring IEC 61000-4-2 ESD (Level 4), IEC 61000-4-4 EFT, and IEC 61000-4-5 Surge protection, making it ideal for sensitive electronic circuits in harsh electrical environments.
