DESCRIPCIÓN

SMBJ15A is a transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in compact surface-mount applications. It features a working peak reverse voltage of 15 V with a breakdown voltage of approximately 16.7 to 18.5 V, providing fast response times of less than 1.0 picosecond for unidirectional operation. The device is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) package and is RoHS compliant, making it suitable for portable communications, computing, and video equipment. With its 600 W power dissipation capability and compliance with IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT), and IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge) standards, the SMBJ15A provides reliable protection against transient voltage events in modern electronic systems.
