DESCRIPCIÓN

SMAJ85CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. The device features a working peak reverse voltage of 85 volts with a breakdown voltage range of 94.4 to 104 volts, housed in a compact DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package. It delivers 400 watts peak pulse power dissipation at 1 ms pulse width and supports peak forward surge current of 40 amps, with typical response times under 5 picoseconds. The SMAJ85CA operates across a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and conforms to RoHS compliance standards, making it ideal for protecting sensitive circuits against transient overvoltage events in accordance with IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT), and IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge) standards.
