DESCRIPCIÓN

The P6SMB18A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. It features a breakdown voltage range of 17.1 to 18.9 volts with a peak pulse power dissipation of 600 watts and peak forward surge current of 100 amps. The device is housed in a compact SMB (DO-214AA) surface mount package and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. With typical response times less than 1.0 picosecond and compliance with IEC 61000-4-2 ESD (Level 4), IEC 61000-4-4 EFT, and IEC 61000-4-5 Surge standards, the P6SMB18A provides reliable protection for sensitive electronic circuits. The RoHS-compliant and halogen-free design makes it suitable for modern consumer and industrial applications requiring robust transient protection.
