DESCRIPCIÓN

MOV-14D470K is a 14 mm radial leaded metal oxide varistor designed to protect against overvoltage transients such as lightning, power contact, and power induction. The device features a maximum continuous voltage rating of 30 V r.m.s., a nominal varistor voltage of 42 V, and a maximum peak current handling capability of 52 A at class current. With a response time of 10–25 ns and maximum peak energy absorption of 93 J (8/20 µs), this varistor delivers high current handling and fast transient protection up to rated limits. The device operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and is RoHS compliant with UL 1449 certification. It is commonly used in power supplies, power systems, line voltage protection, telecom systems, and white goods/appliances where reliable surge suppression is essential.
