DESCRIPCIÓN

MF-RM055/240-2 is a radial-leaded PTC resettable fuse designed for overcurrent and overtemperature protection in AC applications. It features a hold current (Ihold) of 0.55 A at 23°C and a trip current (Itrip) of 1.25 A, with an operating voltage of 240 Vac and interrupt voltage rating of 265 Vac. The device has an initial resistance of 0.45 Ohms and a one-hour post-trip resistance of 1.45 Ohms, with a maximum time to trip of 26 seconds at rated current. The component is constructed with a cured, flame-retardant epoxy polymer insulating material meeting UL 94V-0 requirements, operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +85°C, and is RoHS compliant and halogen-free. This resettable fuse is ideal for protecting food blenders, coffee machines, HVAC systems, electric fans, blowers, and AC adapters, offering reduced repair costs and faster reset times compared to traditional bimetallic switch designs.
