DESCRIPCIÓN
ISOM8-510-B-L2 is a hybrid protection component from Bourns' IsoMOV® Series that combines metal oxide varistor (MOV) and gas discharge tube (GDT) technologies to deliver superior surge protection performance. The device is rated for a maximum continuous operating voltage (MCOV) of 510 V RMS (670 V DC) with an 8 kA nominal current rating and features low capacitance of 50 pF at 20 kHz, enabling use in sensitive signal circuits. It provides exceptional energy handling with 8,000 operations at rated surge levels and 15,000 operations at reduced surge levels, along with ring-wave tolerance and a maximum clamping voltage of 1300 V at 200 A. The component operates reliably across an extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and is RoHS compliant with UL recognition. This hybrid design is ideally suited for premium AC and DC power protection applications where space savings, low leakage, and high energy density are critical requirements.
