DESCRIPCIÓN
ISOM5-510-R-L2 is a hybrid protection component from Bourns' IsoMOV® Series that combines metal oxide varistor (MOV) and gas discharge tube (GDT) technologies into a single device. It features a maximum continuous operating voltage (MCOV) of 510 V rms (670 V dc), with operating leakage less than 10 µA at MCOV and nominal capacitance of 40 pF at 20 kHz. The device delivers exceptional surge protection with 5,000 operations at 10 kA and 407 A surge current capability in a single ring-wave operation, achieving a maximum clamping voltage of 1300 V at 100 A. The in-line lead configuration (L2) with 8.8 mm lead spacing and 0.8 mm wire diameter provides compact integration for space-constrained applications. This hybrid design is ideal for premium AC and DC power protection applications requiring high energy density, extended temperature range operation, low leakage, and superior reliability in industrial and telecommunications systems.
