DESCRIPCIÓN

DV25K4032R2 is a medium voltage varistor from Bourns' DV series designed to protect electronic equipment against high voltage surges in the medium voltage region. This 4032 model size features a 25 V nominal AC operating voltage (31 V DC) with a clamp voltage of 77 V and a leakage current of 2.5 mA, offering excellent transient energy absorption with improved energy volume distribution and power dissipation. The device features a leadless chip form with zero inductance enabling extremely fast response time (less than 5 ns) to transient surges, with a maximum surge current of 1500 A (8/20 µs waveform) and maximum surge energy of 1.2 J (10/1000 µs waveform). Operating over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C with a continuous operating temperature of +125°C, the varistor is tolerant of common water cleaning procedures and humidity (climatic category 55/125/56), making it ideal for surface-mount applications requiring reliable surge protection in industrial and electronic equipment.
