DESCRIPTION

The 3314J-1-500E is a 4 mm square Trimpot® trimming potentiometer manufactured by Bourns, designed for surface-mount applications with industrial-grade sealing and RoHS compliance. This single-turn cermet trimmer features a resistance value of 500 kO (code 105), with standard resistance tolerance of ±20%, end resistance of 1% or 2 ohms maximum, and infinite resolution. The device is qualified to AEC-Q200 Grade 1 and meets EIA/EIAJ/IPC/VECI SMD standards, with J-hook gull-wing pin configuration compatible with vacuum pick-and-place manufacturing processes. Environmental testing demonstrates robust performance including 100 cycles rotational life with ±3% tracking resistance stability, thermal shock tolerance of 5 cycles, and humidity resistance of 90–98% RH over 240 hours. The trimmer is ideal for precision circuit tuning in industrial electronics, instrumentation, and sealed applications requiring reliable long-term performance.
