DESCRIPCIÓN
The 8646AK is a double-pole miniature pushbutton switch designed for momentary or alternate-action control applications in industrial and commercial equipment. It features silver contacts rated for 3 Amps at 250 VAC or 6 Amps at 125 VAC, with an initial contact resistance of 10 milliohms maximum and a dielectric strength of 2000 V rms minimum between terminals and 3000 V rms between terminals and frame. The switch operates across a temperature range of -20°C to +65°C with an electrical life of 10,000 cycles at full load and a total travel of 0.177 inches (4.5 mm). The housing is constructed from melamine-phenolic material with a polyamide actuator and bushing, and the switch is supplied with a hex nut and insulating knurled nut. This switch is commonly used in control panels, machinery, and industrial automation systems where reliable switching of moderate power loads is required.
