The 0ZCH0050FF2G is a surface mount polymer PTC (positive temperature coefficient) resettable fuse designed for overcurrent and overtemperature protection in high-density circuit boards. This 1210 chip-sized device features a hold current of 0.50 A, trip current of 1.00 A, and a maximum rated voltage of 16 Vdc, with a maximum fault current rating of 100 A. The device exhibits fast trip time characteristics with a maximum time-to-trip of 8.00 seconds at rated current, a minimum resistance of 0.10 O at 23°C, and a maximum resistance of 0.250 O at 25°C after initial trip. Operating over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, the 0ZCH0050FF2G is RoHS 6 compliant, halogen-free, and carries TÜV and UL component approvals (UL1434, File E305051), making it suitable for safety-critical applications requiring reliable current limiting and automatic reset capability.
