The 917 is a silver-plated wire contact intended for use within the SB® 350 series connector housings. It is specifically engineered to terminate 1/0 AWG (53.5 mm²) wire and is constructed from a copper alloy base with silver plating for superior electrical performance and low resistance. The silver plating provides high durability, supporting up to 10,000 no-load mating cycles. As part of the SB® 350 system, this contact contributes to a connection rated for 600V AC/DC and a hot plug capability of 100A at 120V DC. These features make it ideal for high-power applications requiring reliable and durable wire-to-wire or wire-to-busbar connections.
