It features a size 20 shell made from high-grade aluminum alloy with a threaded coupling for secure mating. The 'B' designation indicates a split backshell, which is a lightweight, roomy cavity split longitudinally for convenient soldering and inspection. The front shell is keyed, allowing the 90° angle housing to be rotated and locked at any 45° increment. This connector operates over a temperature range of –55°C to +125°C and utilizes diallyl-phthalate inserts with silver-plated solder contacts.
