DESCRIPCIÓN
MUSBB551N4 is a rugged USB Mini-B receptacle connector designed for vertical PCB mounting with a metal shell construction and single port configuration. The connector features a die-cast zinc alloy outer shell with nickel plating, phosphor bronze contacts plated with 0.76 microns of gold over 1.27 microns of nickel, and an engineering thermoplastic USB housing with UL94v-0 flammability rating. It provides IP67 environmental sealing between the mating area and PCB side, with an optional silicone rubber dust cover available in grey or black. The connector supports a current rating of 1 ampere with a maximum contact resistance of 50 milliohms, operates reliably across -40°C to +105°C, and is fully RoHS compliant per EU Directive 2002/95/EC. This connector is ideal for rugged industrial and field applications requiring reliable USB connectivity with enhanced environmental protection.
