The 7100088240 is a D-Sub socket connector from the 3M 8300 series, providing a reliable interface for ribbon cable termination. It features copper alloy contacts with 30 µ" of gold plating in the wiping area, housed in a UL 94V-0 rated glass-filled polyester insulator. The connector is rated for 1A of current, has an insulation resistance greater than 1 x 10^9 Ω, and can withstand 1000 VRMS at sea level. Designed for robust performance, it operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +105°C and features a tin-plated steel shell. This low-profile connector is ideal for various I/O applications requiring dependable termination of 26 and 28 AWG solid or stranded wires.
