DESCRIPTION

MS3470W16-26P is a miniature circular connector featuring a bayonet quick-connect coupling mechanism and environmental sealing designed to withstand harsh aerospace and defense environments. The connector is qualified to MIL-DTL-26482 Series II specifications and features an aluminum alloy shell with olive drab cadmium over electroless nickel plating (W-class designation), copper alloy contacts with 50 µin gold plating, and rigid plastic dielectric insulation. It supports shell size 16 with 26 contact positions and is intermateable with MIL-DTL-26482 Series I connectors. The connector is rated for 1000 VACRMS/1275 VDC operating voltage at sea level (Service Rating II) with test voltages of 2300 VRMS at sea level, making it suitable for high-voltage power and shielded signal applications in commercial aerospace, military aerospace, and military ground vehicle systems.
