DESCRIPTION

556879-7 is a 7-position wire-to-board plug housing designed for the AMPINNERGY Wire-To-Board Connector system. The housing is constructed from polycarbonate material (94V-0 rated) in black finish and features one-piece design with polarization and positive latching to mating receptacles. The connector accepts crimp contacts and is designed for cable-mounted applications with dimensions of 3.05 inches (77.30 mm) in length (Dimension A) and 3.40 inches (86.19 mm) in width (Dimension B). This connector is commonly used in power supply systems, including low-noise power supplies, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), power factor-correcting (PFC) supplies, and redundant (N+1) power systems requiring hot-plug capability and reliable interconnection.
