DESCRIPTION

The 556879-2 is a 2-position plug housing from the ELCON Drawer Connector series. This one-piece housing is constructed from black, 94V-0 rated polycarbonate and is designed to accept crimp contacts with internal latching. It features polarization and a positive latching mechanism to ensure secure mating with corresponding receptacles. As part of a blind-mating connector system, it is suitable for modular equipment designs such as switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), redundant power systems, and other applications requiring mounting to a backplane or chassis.
