DESCRIPTION

The 487923-4 is a solder tab contact, supplied in a strip configuration, for terminating flexible flat conductor (FFC) cables in cable-to-board systems. This contact is made from phosphor bronze and is plated with a minimum of 0.000100 inches of tin over a 0.000050 inch nickel underplate. As part of the AMPMODU System 50 family, it is designed for high-density applications with a .050 x .100 inch centerline. These contacts are suitable for automated termination processes, providing a reliable soldered connection between FFC or flexible etched circuitry and a printed circuit board.
